How it works

From a student's request to money in your account

No shifts, no fixed hourly rate, no assigned students. You see requests that match your subjects, decide which ones you want, name your own price, and get paid when the work is approved. Here's every step of that, including the parts most platforms don't spell out.

The seven steps, every time

Steps marked you are yours to control. That's most of them — which is the whole point of a bidding marketplace rather than a tutoring agency.

1
STUDENT

A student posts a request

They describe what they need, attach their files, set a deadline and a budget. It could be a single question, a weekly problem set, a timed exam, or a multi-week thesis chapter.

Between 20,000 and 50,000 of these are posted every month across all subjects.

2
US

We match it to the right tutors

The request goes to tutors whose subjects, levels and track record fit it — with a match percentage so you can see at a glance how well it lines up with your profile. You never wade through work you can't do.

You see a first name, never a full one. Students appear as a first name and initial — no surnames, no contact details. What you do get is the brief, the files, the deadline and the budget.
3
YOU

You decide whether to bid — and at what price

Read the full brief, open the attachments, then set your price. The app shows you exactly what lands in your balance after the service fee before you submit anything, and gives you pricing guidance from similar jobs that were won recently.

Bidding is free and unlimited. If you'd rather move fast, the one-tap quick bid submits a suggested price instantly.

A workload check has your back. If you already have several jobs due that week, the app warns you before you take on another.
4
YOU & STUDENT

You talk it through in chat

The student sees the bids and opens a chat with the tutors they like. Ask clarifying questions, look at what they've already attempted, adjust scope, and revise your price if the job turns out bigger or smaller than it looked.

Nothing is locked until you both agree. You negotiate directly — we don't set your rate and we don't take your side of the conversation.

5
YOU

You do the work and deliver it

Once the deal is struck, the student's payment is held in escrow — so the money for your job already exists before you start. The job moves into My work with its deadline and everything you need in one place.

Deliver through the app. Long projects are still one agreed price and one delivery — if the scope shifts along the way, renegotiate it in chat rather than absorbing it.

6
STUDENT

The student reviews and approves

They check the work against what was agreed. If something's genuinely missing they can ask for a revision; if it's what was agreed, they approve it.

7
US

You get paid

On approval, the escrowed amount moves out of escrow and into your available balance. Withdraw whenever you like — standard payouts land in 1–2 business days with no fee, or instantly for 1.5%.

Take it out however suits your country: bank transfer, PayPal, Wise, Western Union, Revolut, Cash App, Venmo or a plain money transfer.

Steps 4 & 5 up close

Negotiating and delivering

Two screens do most of the work: the chat where a bid becomes a deal, and My work where you track everything you've committed to.

Everything you've committed to, with what each job is worth to you

The money

Where your money is at every moment

Four states, and you can see which one every job is in. Nothing about your earnings should ever be a mystery.

1 · Agreed
In escrow

The student pays up front and we hold it. The money for your job exists before you start working.

2 · Delivered
Still escrow

You've submitted the work. It stays held while the student reviews it against what you agreed.

3 · Approved
Available

Minus the service fee, it lands in your balance. This is the number the app shows you before you ever bid.

4 · Withdrawn
Yours

1–2 business days and free, or instant for 1.5%. Your choice, every time.

%

The fee, plainly

10% of what the student pays, and it drops to 8% as you bid consistently — so you keep up to 92%.

It applies only to work you win and complete. Bidding, chatting and negotiating never cost anything.

No waiting on payroll

There's no monthly cut-off and no waiting for a pay run. Once a job is approved the money is in your balance and it's yours to withdraw.

Your track record compounds

Rating, jobs completed and completion rate sit on your profile. Students see them, and better numbers win more bids at higher prices.

The part to read twice

The grade guarantee, and what it means for you

This is the promise our students buy, and it's the reason we're selective about who we approve. It also carries real risk for tutors, so we'd rather you understand it now.

If a guaranteed grade isn't met

We promise students a minimum grade of 80+. If that isn't achieved, the student is refunded in full — and the tutor isn't paid for that task. There's no partial payment and no exception for effort.

We say this on every page because it's the single most important thing to understand before you apply. A tutor who only bids on work they're genuinely strong at will almost never meet this situation. A tutor who bids on everything will.

How the app reduces that risk

You get the full brief and every attachment before you bid — never a blind assignment.

You see what similar jobs sold for, so you can price for the real effort instead of guessing and then rushing.

A workload check warns you when you're overcommitted for that week, which is when missed deadlines and weak work actually happen.

And you choose every single job. Nothing is ever assigned to you.

Why we're strict at the door

The guarantee only works if the tutors behind it are strong, so we verify a completed degree and read your transcripts before approving anyone.

That screening is what keeps request volume high and lets you charge properly — students pay a premium precisely because the outcome is guaranteed.

It's the same reason we recommend the equivalent of a 3.5/4.0 and ask which levels you can handle, rather than letting anyone bid on anything.

Straight answers

If something goes wrong

The awkward scenarios, answered before you have to ask.

The student asks for a revision
If it's within what you agreed, do it — that's part of the job and it protects your rating. If they're asking for work outside the original scope, say so in chat and quote it as an addition. The chat history is the record.
The student goes quiet after you deliver
The money is already in escrow, so it isn't at risk. There's no automatic release, so nudge them in chat and contact support — we chase the approval and settle it from there.
You realise mid-job you can't finish in time
Tell the student immediately through chat and contact support. A renegotiated deadline is recoverable; a silent missed deadline damages your rating and can cost you the payment.
The brief turns out to be much bigger than described
Don't absorb it. Raise it in chat and send a revised offer — the app is built for exactly this, and the student can accept or decline before any work starts.
You and the student disagree about whether the work was delivered
Support reviews the chat, the brief and what was submitted. Everything happening inside the app is why this is resolvable — side deals over email or WhatsApp aren't covered.
The guaranteed grade isn't met
The student is refunded and that task isn't paid. It doesn't affect your other jobs or your balance, but repeated cases will affect your standing on the platform.
