How the application works, and what happens after you send it.
About four minutes, plus the time to find your CV and transcripts. If they aren't on the device you're using, tick the box to send them on WhatsApp and submit the rest now.
Up to one week, and we reply to every application. If a week passes with nothing, message us on WhatsApp with your name — the usual cause is transcripts that never arrived.
Nothing at any stage. No application fee, no subscription, no deposit, and no charge to bid. We only take a service fee on work you win and complete.
Yes. Your answers are kept in your browser as you type, so you can close the tab and return. You will need to re-attach files, since browsers don't keep those.
Yes. If we said "not yet" — usually an unfinished degree or missing transcripts — reapply once that's resolved. We'll tell you which it was.
Your tutor sign-in opens the tutor dashboard in the Our Easy Game app, and matched requests appear the same day. You can bid immediately.
It's our main channel for onboarding and for anything we need to check about your application. Make sure the number you give is reachable on WhatsApp.
Who we accept, and the things people wrongly assume are required.
A completed bachelor's or master's degree in any field, transcripts, a CV or profile link, and genuine command of the subjects you choose. That's it.
Not for tutoring — we need a completed degree and final transcripts. Apply the week you graduate. The non-tutoring route is open to you today and has no degree requirement.
No. 3.5 is a recommendation, not a cut-off. We look at your grades in the subjects you want to bid on — a 3.2 overall with top marks in mathematics makes a strong maths tutor.
No. An engineering graduate can tutor maths and physics; an economics graduate can tutor statistics. We check that your transcripts show real strength in what you're claiming.
No. No certificate, licence or education degree is required.
None at either end. The completed-degree requirement sets its own floor.
No. It helps, but grades and subject command matter more. Fresh graduates are welcome.
Yes — all work is remote and students are international, so varied time zones are useful. You just need a payout method that works where you live.
Send them as they are. If we can't read them we'll ask for a translation, and it doesn't need to be certified.
Yes. A clear photo or PDF covering all years is fine. Grades in any system — out of 4.0, 5.0, 100, 20, or UK classifications — we convert.
They're used only to verify your background for this application. They are never shared with students or third parties, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
Finding requests, bidding, delivering, and what to do when it goes sideways.
Requests matched to your subjects and levels appear in your feed with a match percentage, the deadline, the student's budget and how many tutors have already bid. Nothing is assigned to you.
No. Bidding is free and unlimited. The service fee applies only to work you win and complete.
You do, on every request. You can also negotiate with the student in chat, and send a revised offer if the scope turns out different from the brief.
No shifts, no minimum, no quota. You bid on what you want, when you want.
Yes — if the scope is bigger than the brief suggested, send a revised offer in chat. The student accepts or declines before any work starts, and the app recalculates your net.
If it's within what you agreed, yes — that's part of the job and it protects your rating. If it's outside the original scope, say so in chat and quote it as an addition. The chat history is the record.
Tell the student immediately in chat and contact support. A renegotiated deadline is recoverable; a silent missed deadline damages your rating and can cost you the payment.
Don't absorb it. Raise it in chat and send a revised offer — the app is built for exactly this.
Support reviews the chat, the brief and what was submitted. This is why everything should stay inside the app — side deals over email or WhatsApp aren't covered.
You see a first name and initial — never a surname or any contact details. Alongside that: the brief, the files, the deadline and the budget, which is everything you need to price it.
Yes, and most tutors do. The app runs a workload check and warns you when you already have several jobs due that week.
The fee, when you're paid, and how to get it out.
You set every price, so it depends entirely on what you bid and what you win. The arithmetic is your price multiplied by the jobs you take on, minus a 10% service fee that falls to 8% as you bid consistently.
The example bands on our earnings page are illustrations to show how that maths works — not averages we're promising. Nothing here is guaranteed income, and every student sets their own budget that you bid against.
10% of what the student pays, dropping to 8% as you bid consistently — so you keep up to 92%. The app shows your exact payout before you submit a bid.
Bidding consistently builds a streak, and your rate falls from 10% toward the 8% floor. Your current rate and progress are shown on your home screen and profile at all times.
The student's payment is held in escrow from the moment the job is agreed. On approval it moves into your available balance, minus the fee. From there you withdraw whenever you like.
1–2 business days and free for standard payouts, or instant for 1.5%.
Whenever you like. There's no payroll cycle and no monthly cut-off — approved money sits in your balance until you take it out.
Bank transfer, PayPal, Wise, Western Union, Revolut, Cash App, Venmo and plain money transfer — whichever works in your country.
None. No listing fees, no subscription, no per-bid charge, no commission on messages, and no fee on standard withdrawals.
The money is already in escrow, so it isn't at risk. Nothing releases automatically — nudge the student in chat and contact support, and we chase the approval and settle it.
You're an independent tutor choosing your own work and setting your own prices, not an employee. You're responsible for any tax that applies where you live.
The part that carries real risk for tutors. Read it before you apply.
We promise students a minimum grade of 80+ on guaranteed work. It's the main reason students choose us, and the reason we can charge properly.
The student is refunded in full and the tutor isn't paid for that task. There's no partial payment and no exception for effort.
We say this on every page because it's the single most important thing to understand before applying.
Because you choose every job you bid on, you see the full brief and files first, you get pricing guidance from similar jobs, and a workload check warns you when you're overcommitted. A tutor who bids narrowly and well rarely meets this situation.
No — your balance and other jobs are unaffected. Repeated cases will affect your standing on the platform.
The guarantee applies to work sold on that basis. The brief makes clear what's being promised before you bid, which is exactly why reading it properly matters.
The guarantee only works if the tutors behind it are strong, so we verify a completed degree and read transcripts. That screening is what keeps demand high and lets you charge well.
Where you actually work.
No — the same Our Easy Game app, with a dedicated tutor sign-in that opens your own dashboard: Feed, My work, Chats, Earnings and Profile.
No. Tutor access is granted only after we've reviewed your application and verified your degree and transcripts.
Yes. It matters, because requests with only one or two bids are far easier to win. You can also opt into WhatsApp updates on the application form.
Yes, from your profile at any time. Adding or removing subjects and levels immediately reshapes your feed.
The two apps are being consolidated. Message us on WhatsApp with your details and we'll sort out access rather than making you reapply from scratch.
Freelance work in the wider OEG community.
Yes. We bring freelancers into the wider OEG community for design, writing, development, marketing and other work. Same application form — pick the non-tutoring route at the top.
A portfolio or profile link and your years of experience. No transcripts, no degree requirement, and grades aren't part of the assessment.
Yes. Apply on the tutoring route with your transcripts and mention your other skills in the notes box — we'll consider you for both.
The tutoring marketplace is the app. Non-tutoring work is coordinated through the wider OEG community, and we'll explain how that works if we take your application forward.
Try a shorter word, or ask us directly — we answer on WhatsApp faster than you'd expect.
